Project Eye Talker

How might we enable people to communicate comfortably with just their eyes?
So that people who have difficulty moving and talking could now communicate more easily again.

The Eye Talker 👀 (Alpha)
It started with 3 simple questions:

1) How might we enable people to communicate comfortably with just their eyes? So that people who have difficulty moving and talking could now communicate more easily again. 📞

2) How might we enable basic calibration to be done independently? So that users can start basic communication without external assistance or tedious setup. 🏖

3) How might we make all this possible even without exposure to infrared light? So that users do not require long term exposure to infrared light. 🙈
The Prototype Eye Talker
  1. Start "Eye-Talking" in less than 6 seconds. ⚡
  2. Perform Eye Controlled Calibration without external intervention. 💪
  3. Say "Hello World" (using your eyes) in less than 1 minute. ⏳

Challenges
  1. Calibration is a challenge for users who have difficulty focusing for a few seconds on a single point. We need to make it work more consistently for such users.
  2. How might we reduce eye-strain and make it even more comfortable for users to communicate 24/7? 😎
